When we began selling carded sliver we imported it from New Zealand through our friend Mike Hastie who is the man responsible for our 20-series numbering. The 25 was always a solid grey Romney/Perendale New Zealand type. Well that was then and now we’ve been sourcing most of our wool in New England (or the Mid Atlantic) instead of New Zealand, hence we added the D to the 20-series nomenclature meaning Domestic.

This new 25D is a blend of a range of colored Corriedale and other crossbred wool.
