One of our long time standard types. The name evolved after the U.K. and Argentina had a little spat over who owned this remote island ‘nation’ off the coast of Argentina back when Maggie Thatcher was the British Prime Minister. Our long-time British wool supplier had represented the Falkland Company and we took delight in our story. Today this product is primarily sourced domestically from the best combination of white wool sheep. The predominant breed would be Corriedale. This is widely used by dyers and mid-weight felt or yarn applications.
