Noils are a waste product that come about during the process of creating wool roving. The fibers are too short to be carded into sliver. Because of this, small bits of dust and VM get stuck in there too. It’s a lovely wool if you have the patience to pick through it, but may also be used as is for stuffing or some felting applications. Traditionally, this product was sought out by industries producing wool coats and hats.
